Comments: Felt calm and relaxed during swim. One person passed me, but he was passing a lot of people, so felt like I lined up in the correct order. What would you do differently?: Swim faster? Transition 1
Comments: Little bit faster than the super sprint. Opted not to wear a jacket or socks, it was costing time in transition and I figured with it being a sprint, I could get warm and dry pretty quickly. Bike
Comments: Only second time I have been out on the new Felt. As with the super sprint, there was a tailwind going out and a nasty headwind on the way back. Passed a number of people on the hills. It was just a nasty day. Transition 2
Comments: Not sure what I was doing in T2, baking a cake or something? Jeez... What would you do differently?: Go faster? Get with the program? Run
Comments: Had a decent run (for me). Felt like I "got my legs" very quickly. Allowed myself to walk up the big hill. What would you do differently?: Need to work on hills more Post race
Warm down: Mary and Ginger had finished before me and were dancing at the finish line as I came through. It was fun and they made me laugh and kick it in a bit. Loaded up the bike, got on some warm clothes and enjoyed some pizza. Everyone who did both the mini and the sprint received a cowbell and a bottle opener, which was a nice touch.
