Event warmup:

beach warmup and swim. Beach was nice and the water was clear and a nice temperature. Warmup swim to the anchored boats and back. beach run to the small bridge at the end towards the HIlton.

Water was super clear. Could see the coral even at the deepest spots. Amazingly calm.

smooth sailing. Very light winds, sunny and just perfect conditions. Made for a typical fast Lavaman bike.

quads sore, not my best run

Fairly hot on the run, but great conditions overall. King's Trail was pretty washed out and made it a bit difficult to navigate in a few spots.
