Comments: Felt strong the whole way and amazingly unstressed at the high average HR (169). The long interval work on current marathon programme is obviously making me physically stronger and mentally more comfortable at such high heart rates. . Warm down: Long-ish walk to car, stretching when home. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing. Performed sl. better than expected for level of training. Event comments: Very well organised (incl. race number collection) and on time. Lots of volunteers. Great course and novel to be running into the dusk and early evening. Highly recommended.
