Thought I'd be around 20mph on the bike - ended at 19.3, lost about 3 minutes to the goal on the bike, the hills were harder than expected with the wind. Have only ridden outside a few times due to awful winter.
What would you do differently?:

need more early season bike work.

Lost GPS on last run which really hurt in determining pace. Was tough running off the bike - time was 2 minutes off goal

This is a small regional race but super competitive. Top rated triathletes nationally in the race in my AG. If I had this time last year would have been 3rd by more than 4 minutes - this year the time got me 9th in AG. Tough hills but very well run, a lot of local club representation at the race.
