![]() Swim
Comments: I was frustrated in the swim because I could not get around people until it was almost too late. What would you do differently?: Have better luck as far as who is in front of me!! ![]() Transition 1
Comments: T1 was busy and my location didn't help being at the end of the row.. What would you do differently?: Just be faster. ![]() Bike
Comments: I was pleased with the bike effort ... I just want to get stronger. What would you do differently?: Keep training ![]() Transition 2
Comments: I can't believe it but I did it again!! I left my number belt behind and had to run back to get it. This is why my T2 time is so inflated. I could have killed myself!! What would you do differently?: Not be a dumb$!@ and get my belt on!! ![]() Run
Comments: The run was hot and humid especially by the time we were finishing. I was pleased with the time for no more running than I do. If I could put in 30 miles a week where would I be? What would you do differently?: Train more ![]() Post race
Warm down: Mountain Dew!! What limited your ability to perform faster: Not strong enough yet to compete with the big boys. Event comments: I said I would like to crack into the masters division as far as an award goes and I was lucky enough to do that!! This is good race and as usual setup inc. did a great job w/ the organization of it. I will come back next year if healthy. Last updated: 2006-08-09 12:00 AM

I took this a bit more serious than other races to try to minimze possible mistakes. I drove that morning (2.5 hrs) and arrived early enough to be able to relax and take my time getting set up. I timed myself from the door of the swimming pool to the TA just to see how long it would add on to my swim time. I had a bannana and some water for breakfast.
Stretching running and something new, I actually swam berfore the race to help my warmup!!
