Comments: This was the hottest race I've ever done. And considering that, I did ok. Pushed hard on the flats, but had a rough patch in the middle. Felted really swollen in the middle, stomach didn't feel good, so slowed down, took a salt tab, and then felt better after awhile. No falling. Finished super strong too. What would you do differently?: Not much. Maybe start a little slower, I keep up a better pace on the hills with less walking. But it was so hot, I was being cautious. Post race
Warm down: Eating ice, walking, trying to cool down. What limited your ability to perform faster: HEAT Event comments: 7/28 1-99 I moved up in the 10K series standings. Now 3rd overall female.
