Swim
Comments: Overall happy with my performance. My form was sloppy at times, but there were a lot of bad swimmers I had to navigate around and it was hard to get into a groove. I met my goal, which was to keep a moderate pace and make sure I had good energy to move through T1. What would you do differently?: I was the last person from my wave. I should try to get to the front next time in order to avoid getting stuck behind some of the weaker swimmers. Transition 1
Comments: Felt pretty good. Had a hard time getting my socks on. Bike
Comments: Really nice course, the roads were smooth, and good volunteer support along the way. I didn't train for the bike, so I felt slow out there and I burned my legs out for the run. What would you do differently?: Train for the bike. Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Get zip laces Run
Comments: Quads started cramping during the second half of the course, but I was happy with my pace. What would you do differently?: If I train for the bike next year, I can probably shave a couple minutes off my run time. Post race
Event comments: A short but nice swim on Farm Pond. Beautiful bike ride through the countryside and along Charles River. Hilly running course through a quiet suburban neighborhood. Good breakfast served at the end. Overall a great race. Last updated: 2015-07-23 12:00 AM
