Swim
Comments: I swam in the sleeveless wetsuit which was chilly to start, but I am glad I did as I wasn't restricted. I tried to push hard the entire swim. There was some chop in the water and it was a little sickening. 1st in AG/15th OA Transition 1
Comments: In and out. What would you do differently?: Nada. 1st in AG/ Bike
Comments: It was nice to get to see Brad and Karen out on the course. Pushed as hard as I could for the entire ride. Transition 2
Comments: In and out...good transition for me. 1st in AG Run
Comments: Figured I would not have the fastest run in my AG, but I am happy with this run. Ran hard the entire time, counting women and looking at ages on calves the entire time. Post race
Warm down: Cheered on finishers and saw Karen finish. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing..good race for me. Event comments: The race benefits a great cause, Special Olympics. They had so many different race options (varying distances and relays) which was nice. The results were confusing and messed up at the end and there was quite a delay waiting for them. Overall, it was a great race and a fun time with Brad and Karen. Last updated: 2015-08-05 12:00 AM

Got to the race site really early, but we got a great parking spot, set up transition and stood around chatting with Karen, Brad and Karen's friends.
No real warm up. The weather was chilly and overcast. Not typical tri racing weather in NJ.
We watched Brad's wave go off and then we reluctantly got into the water to make our way out to the starting line (in water swim)
