Leading up to the race, my swim had deteriorated as my times seemed to get progressively slower.

Need to seriously work on my form before my next race.

What would you do differently?:

Had difficulty with the helmet strap as it was wrapped up twice upon itself, so probably do a better job prepping the helmet on the bike.

Heat. My lack of training bricks.

Event comments:

Overall the race and venue were great. However, post-race, many athletes experienced problems picking up their bikes in transition as the route from the parking lot took them through part of the run course.
