Did not swim well. Was not able to get good rhythm or strokes. Very out of breath when exiting water.
What would you do differently?:

Start at back of pack so that i can maintain a good stroke.

Still out of breath in Transition from swim. Big hill to transition. Also, pretty good distance to transition

Don't try to eat energy bar when transitioning

Hills were tough. Also, dropped water bottle in beginning of race so pretty thirsty throughout. Also, did not have bike computer set up so I didn't know my pace or distance. There were some really good head winds. Roads were wet so took some turns slower than normal.

Very thirsty because I didn't have water bottle during bike portion. Didn't have to change from bike shoes because I wore my running shoes during bike ride. Also, road running shirt during bike ride.

Just fatigued. Legs got a little tight but nothing too bad. Walked on an off after initial 10 min run.

Very nice venue. It's my first one and I'm from Florida so the hills were a little harder for me than I thought they would be. I would definitely do it again.
