Pre-race routine:

I got up at 4:00 AM and drove two and a half hours to the race course. I had a banana, and cup of Orange juice at 4:30. The an egg McMuffin at 6:30. Set up transition area, said hello to friends, put on my wet suit and was ready to go.

Horrible swim. I over turned on the first turn. I found myself swimming in a crowd the wrong way. Found the right buoy and corrected. I lost a time.

Event comments:

This was my first Tri to Finish race. They did a good job. They don't have all of the bells and whistles of the bigger companies, but they were well organized and did a good job. The raffle wasn't what I was lead to believe. Overall I would race one of their events again
