Run
Comments: Starting with a feeling like I had to pee, which around mile 4 I stopped at an open port-o with no line. Felt better after that. At mile 13, my legs started to feel fatigued, and I knew it would be a long race. Overall, nothing exciting. Started walking at aid stations at mile 21 and then walked up the hill at mile 23. Otherwise, made sure to keep running. What would you do differently?: Not get hurt. Post race
Warm down: Grabbed bags, got to metro and headed back to hotel to check out. Event comments: Wish they would have had aid stations every mile. They were closer to every 1.5-2 miles. Last updated: 2015-09-07 12:00 AM

Got up and ate a bagel with peanut butter. Packed my bag and went to catch the metro. Got off at Smithsonian stop which is right at gear drop. Sat around for a bit before dropping off bag to stay warm. Used the bathroom one more time and went to start line.
