Swim
Comments: Felt good on the swim. No breathing problems. Was able to hold my pace the way I wanted to. Was able to draft on 175-200 lap. On the 250-275 lap major slowdown and ended up having to standup as it wasn't moving. Was able to pass at 275 and hammer the remaining 25. Transition 1
Comments: Opted to go with a long sleeve shirt due to the cool weather. Ended up having a bit of a hard time putting it on as it is a pretty snug shirt and I was wet. That cost me probably about 30 extra seconds. Also getting into the shoes seem to be much more of an issue this time around for some reason What would you do differently?: Practice the long sleeve with wet body Bike
Comments: Some pretty nasty winds at times. Also an unexpected incline around mile 2 that was steeper than expected. What would you do differently?: Nothing. All things considered bike is the discipline I spent the least amount of time on this year and I'm actually surprised I was 8th in my age group considering I came in 13th overall and I'm on a cheap 10 year old road bike. Transition 2
Comments: Took some extra time to drink some water Run
Comments: Run is still my worst, though this is a new PR for a 5k for me. Getting better slowly after my GBS in 2013. My 4 year old finished the last bit of the race with me, so I probably could have picked up another 15-30 seconds, but that didn't matter as I was able to cross the line with my buddy. Post race
Warm down: Not much. Ate some Oatmeal and potatoes and eggs Event comments: Nice little neighborhood tri. Lots of volunteers and giveaways. Very nice atmosphere. Last updated: 2015-10-16 12:00 AM

Not much to do there. Setup bike and ran bag back to car which was quite a walk
No opportunity to warm up. Since it was pretty cold outside I didn't want to get in the water before the event as it would have been pretty chilly standing around wet.
