Comments: left water bottle with karen to save time--dumb *#* move. Was dying by Lap 2. WIth a little pre-race nutrition and on-bike hydration could have gone faster What would you do differently?: hydrate and eat better, get comfortable with aero bars, probably would have given me an extra 1mph or so. Not bad for my first try. Post race

BK Lounge--whopper and fries--not the best pre-race meal. Meant to take some sport jellys but forgot in the nervousness
2 laps of speedway, approx 4 mins each. Computer wasn't working on warm-up. Just put aero bars on bike yesterday but haven't road tested. Tried a litte on the back stretch but felt wobbly, decided to skip them today.
