Pre-race routine:

Some toast and yogurt 1hr before. Was cold enough I needed to wear pants!

Kinvara 2 race shoes, under armor+tech shirt and gloves.

Comments:

Short 3 day taper (A race in May) - felt good but just could not pull out the sub-4 pace needed for a sub 1:25.

Warm down:

Huge buffet breakfast - lot's of bacon!


What limited your ability to perform faster:

Bit of weight, 3 day short taper. Weather couldn't be much better aside from a bit of biting wind.



Event comments:

Enjoy this race - the bag/hat are usually better than your avg t-shirt and the breakfast is good.
