Warm down: Some stretching. Ate some really good barbecue sandwiches. What limited your ability to perform faster: General lack of training. Also may have been tired - not good sleep the night before Event comments: Great race - so well organized! Nice to be on a military base and have the support of the Marine Corps. Beautiful course. Arrive at site early, set up transition. Eat yogurt with Hammer Gel about an hour before race (a little later than I had planned) and then a Hammer Gel 15 minutes before swim start.
