Pre-race routine:

Had Cliff bar and some Water. Stayed at campground next to race location so did not have to travel that morning

Swim went well for me. Slow steady pace. Not too difficult
What would you do differently?:

Still need to get more practice in open water swims to improve navigating Also need to improve speed. Still slow swimmer

Still need to train more on run and do some bricks to help the transition from bike to run

Need to improve on run. Also need to to continue to lose weight

Event comments:

well organized for first race. Swim location not very good. Bike and run course are excellent.
