Pre-race routine:

Woke up, drank some Beet Elite, packed the truck, ate a protein bar and sipped on some Base Rocket Fuel on the drive to the race site (20 miles). Unloaded the car, got body marked, set up transition.

Swim was long. Had 1484m on my Garmin, other had similar numbers. Overall it was a decent swim for me, definitely slower than normal, but still 1st in my AG out of the water.
What would you do differently?:

A slightly more aggressive line would have saved me a minute or 2.

Slow as hell. I held the lead in my AG to 2.5 miles into the run. Walked more than I would have liked to. Still not running as much as I would like this year due to missing most of my running last year due to PF.
What would you do differently?:

Run more often, more brick workouts, drop some damn weight (currently 245lbs.)
