Pre-race routine:

LIght training for the week, and none on Friday.
Drove out on Friday and stayed in a hotel

200 yards or so swimming and some stretching. Raining so didn't do much

Had trouble in my last swim so kept this one very metered. Stood on the beach while and gave the rest of the wave a head start. Swam mostly on the outside and my GPS put me at 1.1 miles. Thought my lines were reasonable, maybe the swim was long. Was getting confused by sighting the marina. Could have had a better line here I think.
What would you do differently?:

Push harder down the back stretch

Terrible time getting wet suit off couldn't find the zipper string, and then it got stuck on ankles

Not the run I was hoping for, but the bike segment was harder then I expected.

Need to train on some hills

Will put on list for next year. Challenging course, but a good location. Race shirt, and growler for swag.
