Event comments:

I thought I would be emotional when I crossed the finish line. I thought I wanted Mike Reilly to call out my name. Instead, I flew through the finisher chute because my only thought was to hold and kiss my fiance who was waiting for me. It was an amazing experience. The volunteers were amazing. The energy of the crowds was electric. I could not have asked for a better race experience. This was my first and probably only full distance race. I will be a "one and done" type Ironman.
