Comments: I live in an area that is all flat farmland. I can handle straight-line winds all day long, but hills just wipe me out. The first big hill was the biggest hill on the course. Both it and the 4th big hill were off flat ground. No chance to get a run coming downhill beforehand. What would you do differently?: Find a way to train for hills. Transition 2

Comments: I hit the wall and just kind of slid down like a cartoon. I had zero left in the tank. I ran a total of maybe 200yds. Lack of hydration on the bike coupled with completely missing the aid station at mile 1... yeah. not good. Post race
Warm down: Cold towel to the neck, and jumped on the last shuttle back to get my stuff. What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of fitness, over abundance of fat. Event comments: I really wish I had prepared better. However... I did finish. Last updated: 2016-06-30 12:00 AM

Got to T2 nice and early to drop my running shoes, number belt and Gu. Drove up the road to T1 to set up Bike.
Parking was 3/4mi away and had to hump in. Lost of pacing and trips to the port-o-let
