Swim
Comments: Out of all the swim courses I have done I believe I was able to stay most on course with this one. Especially on the way out when I was blinded by the sun. Did get off course a bit on the way back but nothing to terrible. I drafted when I could and didn't take any feet to the face. I did get grabbed a couple times though What would you do differently?: Swim more in general I really think I can get closer to 35 minutes on this. Transition 1
Comments: Smooth transition didn't forget anything Bike
Comments: My goal was to finish the bike at around 1:45 so really happy with the results. I still think there is time I can shave off here with the proper training. I pushed hard but think I can push harder. For once I was not one of the last riders on the course Transition 2
Comments: took my time to get what I need What would you do differently?: Would tuck my gel somewhere else ended up losing it on the run Run
Comments: The run was warm! I took advantage of all the aid stations and kept a steady flow of ice in the sports bra which really helped keep my core temperature down. I think I did fairly well trying to run as much as possible considering I have walked the majority of this in the past. What would you do differently?: train more bricks. I know I can get the run done faster than this Post race
Event comments: This was a very well organized and ran race. Last updated: 2016-07-13 12:00 AM

Set alarm for 3:45am. Ate a banana and a whole wheat piece of pita bread with peanut butter on it. Got to the race a little after transition opened got body marked and set up my area.
Did some minimal arm movements to get the blood flowing and brain working. I forget what they are referred to as but learned them at the open water swim clinic.
