Event comments:

Over the course of my 31 years of doing triathlons, this one is the best! Absolutely enjoyed the hometown feel, high level of organization/professionalism and great camaraderie with other friendly participants. Although Lake Michigan was only 65 degrees and choppy due to windy conditions, there were plenty of lifeguards to keep everyone on course and safe. Truly a memorable event, with lots of support and encouragement at every key point on the course and wonderful food afterwards...highly recommend this triathlon!!
