Transition 1
Comments: Put on shoes at the bike (no socks) and ran out of transition. Shoes clipped in smoothly. Pretty good transition for me. Bike
Comments: Congestion right by the entrance to transition cost me ~20-25 seconds. Fairly pleased with the ride- didn't burn all my matches for the run. The congestion at T2 was annoying. What would you do differently?: Also could not pull my feet out of my shoes due to the car/people congestion at the entrance to bike finish. Transition 2
Comments: I didn't have my race belt for the run and didn't want to spend the $$ for another one. I pinned the bib onto a tee shirt which cost me ~20-25s to pull on the shirt. What would you do differently?: Make sure the run belt is in my gear bag. Run
Comments: For me ... it was ok - slow but ok. What would you do differently?: Add volume for run training. Today's time is close to previous times in the event. Better training (esp volume) would help my speed. Post race
Warm down: Event comments: This is a good race. The volunteers were great, enthusiastic and helpful. The weather was great ... cold, but after 2-3 mins on the bike I was no longer cold. The one issue with the car/people congestion at the bike finish could be improved. Don't know if others had an issue, but it did affect me. Last updated: 2017-03-12 12:00 AM
