Pre-race routine:

Drove down Saturday, took longer than last year because of several accidents. Had a pasta dinner and bagel with peanut butter for breakfast.
Event warmup:

Rode bikes from hotel to start area. Missed the turn off of Duval again and had to walk bikes through the marina.

Awesome race. It was a little windy, but not as bad as last year. Really an ideal day for a race.
What would you do differently?:

More faster walks during training.

This is a destination race for a reason, Key West in January is the place to be as a runner. Love this race and will be back again next year.

Course: Out and back through old Key West. Down Duval, past Higgs Beach, along A1A past Smather's Beach to the turn around. Back the same way until the White Street Pier then back up on Whitehead Street. Finish is by the marina area/aquarium.
