Pre-race routine:

Woke up early and drove to race site with Kristen. Picked up packet and set up transition.
Event warmup:

Waded a bit in water. It was too shallow for swimming.

Comments:

The first and last 100 meters or so were too shallow to swim and so required wading, which is much slower than swimming. Overall, this was a good swim.

There is a long run from the beach to transition, so this was not a bad T1 time, although it seemed long.

I'm still not good at U-turns. I pushed the bike a bit to see how I could do. I am happy with the time, but my rank is not great.

I was stung by a bee about 1 mile into the run. I don't really understand my problem with running now. This used to be my strength, but I need to improve my speed.
