Set up my area, wore cap and goggles for the first run. Ate oatmeal, consumed a gel, tried to loosen up.

Comments:

I was having trouble breathing and was swimming slowly so I could catch my breath. The final portion of the swim I finally could breath and was picking up speed.

Nothing, outside circumstances (cramps) effected this race.

terrible knot in my scapula

The race venue is not to blame, I had a bad knot in my back that ruined this race for me but I am still proud that it secured my position in Team USA!
