Pre-race routine:

Lucked out and found a good parking spot. Walked over to the church to pick up my packet and use the restroom. Came back and hung out in the car for a little while before heading back to the church.
Event warmup:

Nothing other than hanging out inside til ~10 min to go and then walking to the start line.

Comments:

Pretty good race. I was only about a minute slower than last year and finished strong. It was fun.
What would you do differently?:

Not much - I think the only way to really get faster is to work on strength training. I have only been running consistently since New Year's so it was still a pretty good effort.
Post race
Warm down:

Not much, walked back to the church for pizza and beer!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of training

Event comments:

This is one of my favorite ways to kick off the spring racing season (even if the weather is typically not spring-like!). Great spread afterward and a good location for handling this many people.
