Pre-race routine:

Got up, had breakfast, and headed out by 8am. Stopped at McDonald's to use the restroom. Parked in the lot above the stadium. Plenty of time to walk down to pick up my bib and then back to the car. Stayed in the car for ~15 and then headed back to Barton to wait in the restroom line. Timing worked out really well.
Event warmup:

None other than walking back and forth to the car and to the start line.

Comments:

Well it is Ithaca so I shouldn't be surprised by the weather. Chose to wear tights and my jacket - ended up being a good choice! Over the first few miles there was sun and I thought it might actually get too hot, but then when we were headed back we were running into the wind. Then, there were crazy snow squalls (like could barely see). It made it fun though!
What would you do differently?:

Not much - I ran pretty well for the training I had done and finished strong.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked inside to get water/food. Not much was left for the slow folks.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of strength training

Event comments:

I like this race and the course (rollers and all). It's Ithaca in spring so the weather is always hit or miss - part of the fun though! The first water stop was extremely disorganized and not prepared so it might be a good idea carry water. Also, not much food left for slower runners - I think the 10K folks really cleaned it out. Overall a good start to the spring racing season with easy logistics.

Course: Gradual climb up out of campus, then rolling hills. One pretty good climb at ~ mile 10 (but it's short). Gradual downhill back to the finish. Seemed to be more uphill in the first half and more downhill in the second.
