Pre-race routine:

1.5 hour drive to race site. Set up transition. Took a couple AltRed capsules 1 hr. before event, consumed 1 bottle of Base rocket fuel, consume 1 Huma gel.

Decent swim, had plenty of clear water after the first 100yds.

For some reason the bike felt extremely slow for me. Headwind picked up on the return to T2.
What would you do differently?:

Press a little harder on the bike. Need to look at changing my drivetrain... larger chainring possibly.

Lots of water. Ate a sandwich and had a Coke to try and balance what I lost.

The heat.
