Swim
Comments: Swim went well. Very little swim training leading int othis. No wetsuit. Never pushed, but managed to swim straight, turn well. Got tired the last 1/4 of the swim, but managed pretty well. Not too upset with this. Transition 1
Comments: Dropped my pump so this cost me a few sec but I had the fastest T1 in the AG, Not having to take off a wetsuit helped. What would you do differently?: nothing Bike
Comments: Didn't push too hard. Could've gone harder, but didn't want to trash my legs before the run. Overall, a good ride. Almost identical to last time What would you do differently?: nothign Transition 2
Comments: Stayed on my feet, pulled on socks, running shoes, and was off. Fastest T2 in the AG too! What would you do differently?: nothing Run
Comments: Wasn't sure what to expect as I haven't done any hard or fast running in awhile. Tried to just hold it steady, and actually got faster as I went. I wwas beat by the end and this was about as good as I could've done. What would you do differently?: nothing Post race
Warm down: packed up and took everything to the car. Walked to the food, had apiece of pizza, some watermelon adn oranges, adn 2 hoe cakes. Waited on Janee to finish and then we headed home What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of training Event comments: This race was excellent again this year. Nothing to complain about. Good pre-event communication, smooth race day logistics, on time start, lots of volunteers, good course, great post-race spread. Last updated: 2019-05-28 12:00 AM
