Funny story about the swim. I borrowed a wetsuit off of bstock for the swim. He told before hadn the suite sometimes filled up with water. So I took a chance and tried the suite and I seemed to choose wrong. The suite started to fill up with water about 100 yds into the race and made it uncomfortable.
What would you do differently?:

Not wear the wet suite.

Now I was not very start with this wet suite thing. Since I have never wore a wetsuite, I have never taken one off. Bob gave me a quick overview of how to get it off but I fail terribly when I tried to do it during the race. It took me over 2 mins to get the suite off over my shoulder and I had to sit down to get it off my heals. I was irritated at the time but it was funny looking back on it.
What would you do differently?:

Not wear a wetsuite.

This was one of the hardest rides I have ever done. It started to rain right when I got on the bike and the wind started to pick up (did I mention that the remains of ernesto were hitting us). They said the course was flat but it seemed like never ending rolling hills to me. The corner sucked because I slowed because of the wet pavement and I lost alot of my momentum. I felt really strong on the hills in the beginning but got a little burned out during the end.
What would you do differently?:

Not much else I could do.

Best run that I have ever had in a triathlon. I felt like I could go for another 3 miles at the same pace. I should of tried and pushed it more since I was not really tired at the end.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Wearing a wetsuite and the rainy weather.

Event comments:

This was a great running race for me and I really was happy with the end result. I have been biking more, but I still need to get on it more. I have one more race this season I could not wait for it. This time no wetsuite and I am going to bike more and work on the transitions.
