Pre-race routine:

After my debut olympic race last week in the rain, I decided yesterday to do one more this year, a sprint in the sun this time.
Left my house at 8:15, and arrived there an hour 20 later
Event warmup:

Not much, walk around, light stretching, broke the zip on my wetsuit and considered not wearing it but tested swimming a few strokes and decided that it would do.

Maybe take some lessons to improve my technique and speed?

Lots of turning as we were riding back and forth 4 times on the same road. Had to slow down a lot and lose momentum. With that in mind, a pretty good time for me. Happy with that.

Very happy with the run, which is my least favourite of the 3. There was quite a tough hill to climb but what goes up must come down and I let loose downhill and made up the time I lost on the way up.
