Comments:

Blisters on both feet under arches. Right foot after about 4 miles - really painful. Wet socks in transition - maybe have dry socks in run bag to change into. Possible problem with insoles.

Event comments:

Really well organised and great volunteers. Nice bike course that was fairly fast even with the elevation gain. A few things I thought could be better - the first feed station on the bike was at the bottom of a descent around a corner, which was dangerous and at least two people had serious crashed there. Also the finish area was very cramped and not easy for spectators to move around - it was also a very long way from the transition, which made registration at the start of the race and collecting bikes & bags at the end of the race difficult.
