Swim
Comments: Swim went well. Didn't push too hard, but kept ot steady. navigation was good. A little surprised that it was over 16min, as I was hoping for 15:30, but I was still 45 sec faster than last time on this course What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 1
Comments: T1 went well. Jogged all the way up the hill from the lake. Sat down to pull off swimskin and put on socks and shoes. No real issues What would you do differently?: nothing. Still 2nd in AG and 9th overall for T1 Bike
Comments: Good ride, even though I had forgotten my computer. Tried to keep effort very smooth, nad not have the big spikes/dips. Not having the computer made me focus on how I felt more than usual. Ended up being 1 min faster exactly than last time, so something went well. What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 2
Comments: Smooth T2. Shoes/helmet off and run shoes on quickly. Grabbed belt and hat and took off What would you do differently?: nothign Run
Comments: Tough run. Quads startin gcramping on the second of 5 hills going out. First 2 miles were 7:37, 7:28. Felt pretty good til the turn around, but the first climb got me nad I had to walk the uphills from there on out. Never walked for more than 20 yds, but definitely slowed. 3rd mile was 8:12. Managed to run the last 1/2 mile, but was beat by the end. Had no speed to sprint in, but endurance felt ok. What would you do differently?: train more Post race
Warm down: walked around, changed and packed up, waited around for awards Event comments: Very well done race again this year. Much smaller in years past becasue the Nashville Music City changed to this same weekend, so a lot of people opted for Nashville instead of this race. Still a great course, nice lake, good roads to ride. A tough run course though with the constant hills. Will keep doing this race, thoguh. Last updated: 2022-06-02 12:00 AM

Ate my oatmeal and banana and drove the 75 miles to the race
Actually got there an hour early, got checked in, set up in transition. Rode 3 miles, ran 1/2 mile, swam a couple of hundred yards.
