Pre-race routine:

Shave/shower. Cinnamon Raisin bagel oj and coffee. Arrived at transition around 7. Loaded up my nutrition and fluids. I made sure my bike was good and tires inflated. Chatted up a few neighbors. Put on my wetsuit, found a bench and relaxed for about 20 minutes.

Good swim. I have 1swim speed and I don't how far I'm swimming. High gear is the same as low and always the swimming equivalent of walking.

Good ride I pushed hard into the headwind and paid on the run. I don't know if I would change it.
What would you do differently?:

I had a good ride. A little slower than I wanted, but I'm happy with the effort. I really didn't answer the question.

good run. I gassed a little and did a walk/run. Started just walking aid stations, but ended up walking more than that
What would you do differently?:

I'm a little disappointed in myself, I didn't make any friends on the run. I need to work on that

Warm down:

Space blanket and a much needed shower. I slept all the way home (3 hour) drive

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I pushed a little too much in the headwind and paid for it on the run. I should probably use base salts

Great race, fantastic venue. I love the bike course. Swim is easy in protected Bay. A must do
