What would you do differently?: Train for the race, never swam over 1000 meters, work on getting comfortable in the water and getting more water time Transition 1
Comments: Took my time, was a long run to T1 from the swim (.34 miles), just wanted to make sure I was ready for the ride What would you do differently?: Not much, could have run a bit more, but just wanted to finish Bike
Comments: Course was good, rode my road bike for the comfort. Did not hit my nutrition plan at all, stomach got sour (probably from the Welch chews, too much sugar) Took too much time in the aid stations, because of stomach, but will work on nutrition better next time What would you do differently?: More bike time, use the tri bike, and get thru the aid stations. Also my Garmin acted up, so had to fiddle with it. Transition 2

Comments: Needed to run more than 3 miles or 10 in a week. My walk / run plan was good and have tons of room to improve What would you do differently?: Train for this race next time. but proved that I could gut out this race Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Training, or lack of. No swim, 50-70 miles a week riding, and 3-7 miles a week running, won't cut it. Event comments: Could have had more pizza, but that is what I get for being so late Last updated: 2022-10-02 12:00 AM
