Pre-race routine:

A GU Roctane about 11 mins pre-race. FIRST RACE IN A LONG TIME WHERE I DIDN'T HAVE ONE ON THE BIKE AS WELL! Sort of forgot to strap one on.

Not straight. Veered off course just before the 1st turn, and then half way between the 2nd turn and the shore. Came up short for distance.
What would you do differently?:

Not too much... just sight better.

First overall on the bike! Was working hard! Was being drafted from miles 2-5 (after passing a guy he then came up on me again), so was working hard to drop him at that point.
What would you do differently?:

Not much! Didn't know if going harder a few miles in would hurt me too much, but it didn't seem to!

Good! Felt fast! Passed someone leaving the park, and then was in the lead. (But a time trail start meant I didn't know for sure, and it turns out I was still in 2nd.) Ran everything by myself, and kept working hard.
What would you do differently?:

Not much! Lost by 0:13, but couldn't make that up on the run, even running by myself.

Walked a bit, and that was it there. (Walked more at home and then stretched well.)
