Pre-race routine:

Arrived the afternoon before, watched PSU vs. Notre Dame at the hotel, went to pasta dinner & watched Ohio State. To bed aroudn 10:30pm, woke up at 4:30 AM & headed to race site. Bagel at 6pm (2 hrs prior to projected start)
Event warmup:

Some of the running drills from Bobby McGee, did 2-3 sets as it ended up being a different race than I signed up for! (Swim cancelled)

Event comments:

This race was dissapointed due to the cancelled swim...nothing the race director can do about the weather. Last year I was really impressed with this race...ferry boat start, brightroom photographers, Alcatraz Qualifying event...but this year it was not a qualifier, there were no professional photographers, and not even any national anthem, instead we recited the pledge of allegiance, which I thought was corny.
