Comments:

Started fairly close to front, took off a little quick for the temperature. I got into a comfortable pace after first half mile and the crowd thinned out. I thought I was doing good until the winner of the F65-69 age group passed me in the third mile, but considering my first mile was not far under my average I think I was fairly consistant through out the distance.
What would you do differently?:

Not much considering I ran my first 5K the beginning of Sept. at 29:54, my second in the middle of Sept. at 27:20 and this was my third. I guess I will continue to train for my first 10K next month by growing the mileage each week.
Post race
Warm down:

Jogged for a few minutes and stretch out good. Had some water and an apple and listened to the awards presentation.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Old age and decrepidness (sp?). Seriously, time and conditioning is coming along so I am pleased with my finish.

Event comments:

In my limited experience this was a well run race and a pretty nice day, other than being a little cold.
