Swim
Comments: Swim went ok although I felt a little fatigued about 3/4 way through it. I did push hard the last two laps trying to get to 500M. I actually did about 485M, almost finishing the last lap before the gun. What would you do differently?: More swim practice. Transition 1
Comments: ALL LOST IN THE SUPERMARKET....The Clash I completely spaced and loafed in the locker room. I ended up getting to the bike 1:30 after the group start. I thought everyone was starting individually as we were on exercise bikes. double-DUH ! What would you do differently?: Ummm...how about remember I am in a race (even if it is indoors)and do T1 like I mean it. Bike
Comments: Started late and ruined my chance to finish strong ! What would you do differently?: Start on time Transition 2
Comments: Hopped off bike, swapped shoes, got on treadmill What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Run was tedious on the treadmill. I started out at 9:00 pace according to machine and then ran for seventeen minutes at 8:30 pace and three at 7:30 pace. Not sure why there is inaccuracy on time/length. What would you do differently?: Bring ipod for treadmill run to keep my mind off the tedium. Post race
Warm down: Walkded on treadmill for almost five minutes. What limited your ability to perform faster: Overall run training. Event comments: This is a great race for several reasons. It is at the end of the season, so timing is great for a race right before the cold. The race benefits the Kate Kimberley Foundation and helps wheelchair bound people back into athletics. Kate is a great person, and ran a great race ! I will do this race again in 2007 Last updated: 2006-09-25 12:00 AM

Woke up early, had some oatmeal and a protein bar and juice. Drove about 50 minutes to race.
Got into wetsuit, put things in order in two separate lockers.
Went to pool and swam about 150 to loosen up. Relaxed in pool until my scheduled start at 9:00 a.m.
