Comments: WOW!!! Holy crap- maybe the course was short- but I seriously did not feel this fast. I was planning on a nice steady 8 min mile pace... you know because I had to bike 32 freakin miles after! I never looked at my watch during the run either- good thing because I probaly would have slowed down thinking Im not that fast! What would you do differently?: Nada! Transition 1
Comments: OK transition- could have been faster- I put on another shirt for the bike and debated about my gloves for a second to many. Otherwise went smooth. Didnt have the greatest mount- but oh well. What would you do differently?: Yanks- speed lace... I believe I have said this before! Bike
Comments: AHHHH... I SO wanted to make 19 mph I was .02 short.ugh. Considering this was farther then I have ever biked before (I KNOW- big wuss... but I get bored!!) I did quite well. I felt great- like I was passing everyone- woo hoo- thats the great part about being in one of the last waves to go out. The last 5 miles were though- I wanted to be done- but I just kept pounding it out. I was really trying to catch my friend Glenn who I knew wasnt that far ahead of me- I finally saw him in T2. Oh well. Great course though- very pretty along the river- I really did try to look once in a while :) Not to many hills either. What would you do differently?: Nada. Transition 2
Comments: Oh man- when my feet first hit pavement I didnt think Id be able to even walk! Wowza... went Ok though- took off my shirt I put on- was kind of shakey tying my shoes too. Average T2- could be better. Run
Comments: OMG- seriously the hardest run I ever did. OUCH.. my legs were SO tight... I need to do long bricks like every day to prepare for this. I actually passed a lot of people though- Didnt think I had under 8 minute miles here either- I guess all my running has been paying off- because I am SMOKIN!!! And I dint even feel fast!! Even had a little sprint at the end:) What would you do differently?: I had to stop to retie my shoe- I swear every fricken race!!! Post race
Warm down: walked a bit- found my sister still waiting for me to come in from the bike!! I musta been so fast she missed me :) Bummed she didnt get to see me finish. Waited for the awards ceremony- YEAH ME... more hardware.. to bad it is almost always 3rd.... next year. I actaully should have been 4th- the girl in 4th had a 4 minute T1- ha ha- so I win. What limited your ability to perform faster: nothing- I was happy with this race. Beat my goal by 4 minutes. But I am gonna be dragging tommorrow. Cliff Bar- Gatorade- banana. Very happy to not have a swim :) Tried to stay warm- I think it was like 45 degrees. Was very nervous again. I dont know why I get so worried- I am just FINE!!!

none- but I am going to fromnow on. My run felt great after the first mile, had I warmed up I p[robaly would have felt better.
