arrived at 8am (after pit stop at the same gas station as last year)
picked up my packet
stretched out good, when I started to walk I found Kris and we walked together for a while to warm up and had a nice conversation.

Comments:

My mp3 player puked at about mile one so I was musicless most of the race (that was OK). I had to laugh at the people that would be walking until I caught up and then they would run a ways. Eventually I out lasted most of them.
What would you do differently?:

Not wear the long sleeve wicking baselayer.

Warm down:

Walked around a bit. I ran into Tommy Leterski from CC and we talked (he was running the 10 K). I piacked up some food (should have drank more)

What limited your ability to perform faster:

being overwieght and needing more speed training

Event comments:

My pace was better than 1 minute per mile better than last year. I am satified with that improvement.
