Comments: Beautiful! A little over-hydrated so drank more of the concentrated sports drink without diluting it more with water. Talked to a lot of people along the route, both running and spectators. Warm down: I'm training for New York Marathon, so I needed to do a 20 mile run today. After the race, I got my medal and mug, took a loo break, and ran the remaining 6.9 miles back home. Warmed down by walking around a lot, then stretching, then ice bath What limited your ability to perform faster: Holding out for an extra 7 miles post-race - I would have gone faster if I knew I could stop at 13.1 Event comments: Good support from local Marines and others - a very fun race!
