Comments: Started out really strong, had a good pace. GI track started to act up near the turn around and there was no port-a-potties! This did me in for the way back on the last half. Warm down: Port-a-potty! What limited your ability to perform faster: GI track.. Event comments: The race wasn’t' the best run event that I have been to. Woke up at 4am to warm up and drive to Kentville, just over an hour drive. had a bowl of oatmeal, no milk, spoon of brown sugar about three hours before start. Had a cliff bar about two hours before start and 400ml Gatorade 30 min before start.
