Run
Comments: I was pretty confident going into the race since i had quite a bit of mileage under my belt from the Triathlon season. I am not sure what the cause was but i didn't feel to well after about mile 5. Just felt sluggish and couldn't get into a good rythem. I had considered signing up for the full mararthon but decided against it. Thank God. As i hit the fork in the road for the Halfer to go one way and the Fullers to go another, I couldn't imagine having to go another 13.1 miles!! What would you do differently?: Change my racing eve dinner to a more carb based meal instead of BBQ. I normally go for pasta but got out voted by the kids this time. Post race
Warm down: Walked around and had some bananas, water and oranges. What limited your ability to perform faster: Need more training and different race eve meal. Event comments: I am not that fast of a runner to beging w/, but I beat my PR by 12 minutes, and I was able to run the whole race w/ out walking. Last updated: 2006-10-12 12:00 AM

Up at 5:00am, ate oatmeal and had some emergen c. Seems thest two items are becoming my regular pre-race routine. Although, I won't be going Lucielle's again for a carbo load dinner the night before. Need more carbs instead of ribs.
Got to the race area about 1hr before the start. Stretched and used the restroom.
