Pre-race routine:

Event warmup:

1 mile warmup to the start. Lots of jumping around at the start to stay warm.

Headwind for the first 7 miles, neutral/crosswind for 2.5 miles, tailwind for the remainder. Ran consistently for the first 9 or so miles, and then picked it up (a lot) for the last 5k. Felt great all the way to the finish!!!
What would you do differently?:

Nothing worth listing. I was very happy with my performance.
Post race
Warm down:

6 minute run...legs were pretty torn up, and started to cramp on the cooldown run, so I cut it off and resorted to stretching and walking.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Running conservative the first ten miles as to not burn out. I was trying to run consistently at 6:30 pace to practice for Boston. But I ran faster and shattered my previous 1/2 Marathon PR! So no complaints on ability to perform faster.

Event comments:

Thanks to the "Pit Crew"! It was great having people cheering at the finish. We all met for dinner on saturday night and then again for the breakfast buffet after I finished. It was a great weekend!!!
