Comments: 1/2 marathon race started with the marathoners. So it was crowded and hard to break open for a few miles. What would you do differently?: I had a harder time on the gradual hills than I expected. Slowed me down almost .30 sec per mile. Practice hill running, especially with IM Lake Placid on the horizon. Post race
Warm down: water, gatorade, soft pretzel walking What limited your ability to perform faster: ran out too fast trying to cath the 1:50 pace group... and hills hurt me more than expected.
