Pre-race routine:

Woke up 2hr 15 min prior. Was staying in hotel right between start and finish lines. Shower. Body glide & nipple guards. Organic peanut butter sandwiches. Sport Beans 20 min before race start.
Event warmup:

Shivering.

Comments:

Knee pain around mile 22 slowed me down, otherwise would've been in around 4:20. Water stop mid hill at mile 17 kinda sucked, but I guess there really wasn't anywhere else for them to put it logistically.
What would you do differently?:

nothing. Maybe stretch at little after the 1st mile.
Post race
Warm down:

walked around to get finisher's shirt / water / powerade. Walked a couple blocks back to hotel. Should've iced the knee sooner.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

knee pain @ 22. At least I wasn't the guy that was laying on his back holding his leg and whailing. Felt bad for him.

Event comments:

Speactators were awesome! Course was crowded while the 1/2 folks were around, they split off before mile 10 and life became nice. They helped keep me slow the first few miles so I got warmed up properly.
