Comments:

Kept a decent pace all race. I started the race at the rear of the corral and slowly kept passing people all the way through the finish. Legs felt a bit sore and heavy at the start but loosened up at approx. mile 3.

I maintained patience pace til mile 5. I dropped the hammer thereafter but waited too long. Next year READ THIS BLOG Thanksgiving eve and plan on droppng the hammer at mile 4.

Took a Gu gel at 7:15 AM before race start and one at mile 4.5. I also had 2 half cps of H2O during the entire run.

What would you do differently?:

Drop the hammer at mile 4 instead of mile 5
Post race
Warm down:

I had the best Ultimate BOWL at Denny's where the service was as fast as my run at Miami Man. Marisol forgot my Oatmeal and instead brought me Pancakes- which I gave to Liv.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

30 pounds I must lose!!!

Event comments:

Paco Ruiz kicked ass this year with what appeared to be 2000 Turkeys. Nice weather and great friends.

Hats off to Liv for pulling off a 1:09 after not doing squat for 2 months except drink wine. I think he got a taste of the camaraderie that hovers over Da Bitches that makes our hearts swell and burst from the Da Love and loyalty. NICE.

A must for next year.

Garmin did not work today. Somesing screwey going on Lucy!!!! But my heart did not POP so all went well.
Course: The French Riviera of Monte Carlo- ah shux- I mean Tropical Park- 2 loop course where the vomit accentuated the landscape like the Barolo Vinyards under the Tuscan Sun. Aldo was handing out Accellerade from the "port-a-pod" but the flux capaciter must have been screwed up cause it was coming out like molases going up a string.
